Sept. 11
The Union Bank Co., Columbus Grove, was granted a foreclosure against Shelly M. Clark, Hebron, in the amount of $77,124.72, plus interest and costs.
Sept. 14
Daniel F. Salazar, 38, 1035 Heritage Trail, Ottawa, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for sexual battery. He was given credit for 191 days served. He was so sentenced to 36 months in prison for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. The sentence was ordered to be served consecutively for a total of 96 months in prison. He must notify and register as a Tier Three for life.
Salazar was charged in connection to a case involving a girl who was between 13 and 16 years old at the time that occurred late one night between June 18 and July 31, 2018 at his residence, according to court documents.
Dale E. Collins, 48, 759 E. Perry St., Lot 12, Paulding, was sentenced to 210 days jail for violating community control. The violations include consuming heroin. He was given credit for 144 days served. He must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all counseling and treatment and obtain a GED. He was originally convicted of possession of drugs.
Eric J. Guerra, 34, 505 N. Walnut St., Ottawa, was sentenced to nine months in prison for attempted domestic violence. He was given credit for six days served.
Jennifer E. Smith, 24, 203 N. Belmore St., Leipsic, was sentenced to 50 days jail for violating community control standards. The violations include failing to speak to her supervising officer as required, failing to reside at the approved address, changing her address and failing to make payments toward court costs. She was given credit for 40 days served and placed on five years community control. She must obtain and maintain employment and successfully complete all treatment and counseling. She was originally convicted of theft of checks.

The Union Bank Co., Columbus Grove, was granted a foreclosure against Daniel L. Caudill, Columbus Grove, in the amount of $38,588.64, plus interest and fees in the amount of $2,731.93, plus interest and costs.
Sept. 17
Jonathon S. Welker, 45, 725 N. Franklin St., Delphos, pleaded no contest to an amended charge of aggravated assault. He faces up to 18 months in prison and $5,000 in fines. Bond was continued while a presentence investigation is conducted with sentencing set for 1 p.m. Oct. 22. He had been charged with attempt to commit murder and felonious assault.
A jury trial had been scheduled next month for Welker, who police and prosecutors say stabbed his drinking buddy two days after Christmas last year. According to court documents, Jonathan J Hogdson called Putnam County 911 dispatch the night of Dec. 27, 2019 and said he had been stabbed and was being transported to a Lima hospital by Welker. Court records show Hogdson suffered a large horizontal laceration across his abdomen so substantial that his internal organs were exposed. He told investigators that Welker had inflicted the injuries.
Hogdson underwent emergency surgery following his arrival at the hospital. He later told officers that he and Welker had been at Wibby’s Bar in Kalida and were driving back to Delphos when they had an argument. Hogdson stopped the car along County Road N near US Route 224 and told Welker to get out of the vehicle. A physical altercation ensued, and the stabbing occurred.

Tate A. Tadsen, 23, 2067 Road 18A, Continental, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $250 fine. A charge of assault was dismissed.
Timothy J. Bailey, 45, 253 Old Orchard Drive, Ottawa, pleaded no contest to reckless operation and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine. He was fined court costs for traffic control device.
Jacqueline A. Andrews, 44, 93 W. Main St., Apt. 6, Shelby, pleaded guilty to complicity. Sentence: 180 days jail, 170 suspended, $100 fine, complete mental health assessment, must not be present at Ottawa True Value Hardware for one year.
Sean Shaffer, 22, 13740 Road C, Leipsic, pleaded guilty to physical control while under the influence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $375 fine, one-year license suspension, and complete an alcohol and drug assessment with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP. Charges of failure to control and open container were dismissed.
Abel E. Alafa, 47, 212 N. Belmore St., Leipsic, pleaded guilty to physical control while under the influence. Sentence: 180 days jail, 174 days suspended, $375 fine, license suspended for one year, with credit for six days jail upon completion of DIP.

Adam D. Inbody, 26, 440 N. Vine St., Deshler, pleaded guilty to two counts of petty theft. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $100 fine and complete an alcohol and drug assessment. A charge of endangering children was dismissed.
Angela L. Kaylor, 42, 15663 Old State Route 12, Columbus Grove, pleaded guilty to making false alarms. Sentence: 180 days jail, 150 days suspended, $100 fine.
Sept. 14
Dalon R. Deloney, 28, 5875 Yermo Drive, Apt. H2, Toledo, pleaded guilty to persistent disorderly conduct. Sentence: 30 days jail, 29 days suspended, $150 fine. A charge of obstructing official business was dismissed.
Sept. 15
Tammy L. Whitehouse, 46, 1327 St. Johns Ave., Lima, pleaded no contest to having no license and was found guilty. Sentence: $150 fine.
Sept. 16
Jordan C. Williams, 37, 725 S. Cable Road, Apt. 7B, Lima, pleaded guilty to assault. Sentence: 180 days jail, suspended, $250 fine, pay restitution of $1,981, no contact with victim for one year.
Devan C. Heitmeyer, 18, 105 Steiner St., Pandora, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property. Sentence: 180 days jail, 90 days suspended, $150 fine and must obtain GED. A charge of underage possession was dismissed.
Linsey J. McCrate, 18, 1301 Terrace Drive, Defiance, pleaded guilty to having no operator’s license. Sentence: $150 fine.
