Gorgo’s Slow Cooked Corned Beef and Cabbage

Leonard Maltin may suggest Gorgo for Mike and the ‘Bots but I suggest a recipe based on it for St. Patrick’s Day. You don’t need to be a treasure hunter to get this good of a recipe. Here is my recipe for corned beef and cabbage with vegetables in the slow cooker.
4 Carrots (peeled and matchstick) 10 Baby Red Potato 1 Onion (diced) 1 (4 pound) Corned Beef Brisket with Spice Packet 6 ounces of Beer 1/2 cup Cabbage chopped
Now to transport your monster to an amusement park!
Place the carrots, potatoes, and onion into the bottom of a slow cooker. Pour in the water. place the brisket on top of the vegetables. Pour the beer over the brisket. Sprinkle on the spices from the packet, cover, and set the cooker on High Cook the brisket for about 8 hours. An hour before serving, stir in the cabbage. Cook for 1 more hour. Once cooked through shred corned beef like pulled pork. (Just like tearing down London in a Godzilla rip-off suit.)
There you go! You’re ready to escape from the circus or enjoy a great St. Patrick’s Day meal! Enjoy!
