Festival Pahang 2019 Simply Awesome
The Pahang State Government through Tourism Pahang has held the Pahang 2019 Festival from November 21 to 24, 2019 at The Square, Publika, Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur.
The program is aimed at promoting the uniqueness of Pahang States culture, arts and tourism destination to the general public.
The main purpose of this program is to promote uniqueness and diversity tourism activities available in the state of Pahang.
Various activities have been planned throughout four (4) days of the program include exhibitions and tourism sales, demonstrations of handicraft and traditional Pahang cuisine, cultural performances and B2B sessions together tourism industry players.
The opening ceremony of the Festival Pahang 2019was officiated by the Chief Minister of Pahang, YAB Dato Sri Wan Rosdy Bin Wan Ismail, on November 22, 2019, at The Square, Publika, Solaris Dutamas, Kuala Lumpur.

The Festival Pahang 2019 is an annual event organized by Tourism Pahang.
In conjunction with the national campaign Visit Malaysia Year 2020 (VM2020), Tourism Pahang took a bold move to enhance the initiative of promoting tourism in the State of Pahang to the Malaysian public.
In collaboration with Tourism Malaysia East Coast Region, this event is assisted by several other departments and agencies

The Festival Pahang 2019 brings together several activities, to attract visitors to the festival with hotels and resorts (MAH Pahang & MYBHA Pahang), agencies and tourism operators (MATTA Pahang), assisting to promote the state.

Unique Pahang Food Products and Fruit
Several Small Industry product booths and Medium (SME) products from local Pahang state-owned enterprises showcased unique Pahang food products.
Exhibitors demonstrated Pahang cuisine like Sambal Hitam, Tempin Tempoyak, Murtabak Jerantut Ferry, and Pudding Diraja which is a royal pudding served in the Pahang palace.
The visitors were treated to samples of sweet fragrant local fruit fromthe State Department of Agriculture and FAMA Pahang Branch.

Royal Pahang Weaving
For over two centuries, quality Royal Pahang Silk is a proud testimony to the colourful past of the Pahang royal family.
The traditional and intricate weaving method characterized by a checkered pattern is a sight to behold.
Once an exclusive item of the Pahang Royal Palace, Tenun Pahang Diraja today has gone through various changes to suit local and foreign tastes.
The beautiful silk fabric is suitable for formal dinners, wedding ceremonies, and other important events.
The Pahang Branch Malaysia Handicraft Development Corporation brought a Pahang weaving demonstration (Royal Pahang weaving is the official name for weaving Pahang (officially used), batik sticks, wood carvings, and several other interesting handicraft products for exhibition and sale.

In line with Visit Malaysia Year 2020, Tourism Pahang hopes the ongoing program will attract domestic and international tourists with the promotion of the various tourism products available in the state of Pahang.
