Channa Chaat Recipe

Channa chaat is a delicious and healthy snack that’s perfect for any occasion. It’s a popular dish in India and Pakistan, and it’s now gaining popularity all over the world. Here’s a simple recipe for channa chaat that you can make at home.


  • 1 can of chickpeas (400g)
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small tomato, finely chopped
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala
  • 1/4 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp tamarind chutney
  • 1 tbsp mint chutney
  • 1 lemon, juiced


  1. Drain the chickpeas from the can and rinse them with water. Put them in a mixing bowl.
  2. Add the chopped onion, tomato, green chilli, and coriander to the mixing bowl.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the cumin powder, chaat masala, red chilli powder, and salt. Add this mixture to the mixing bowl.
  4. Add the tamarind chutney, mint chutney, and lemon juice to the mixing bowl.
  5. Mix all the ingredients together until everything is well combined.
  6. Transfer the channa chaat to a serving bowl, and garnish with extra coriander leaves.
  7. Serve immediately, and enjoy your delicious and healthy channa chaat!
