Lindsay Lohan posted and deleted a shady Instagram post about Cody Simpson and Miley Cyrus, but that doesn't mean she gets to slide away from the drama.What’s up everyone? It’s Sussan Mourad here with Clevver News and as Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson’s romance continues to heat up, Lindsay Lohan decided she would like to be inserted into this narrative.Just for a little back story, Lindsay’s sister Aliana Lohan AKA Ali dated Cody Simpson in 2018, way before Miley and Cody’s current fling. And now Lindsay took it upon herself to call out Cody for a variety of things.She ended up deleting the post soon after sharing it, but obviously fans screenshotted it before she could pull it down.
Those are some fighting words Lindsay. Not only did she shade Cody here, but she obviously doesn’t think very highly of Miley either based on that post.And just in case you were wondering what the Masked Singer has to do with this, Lindsay is a judge on Australia's first season of "The Masked Singer. " This is where she first revealed her issues with Cody when she guessed that the masked man in the Robot costume was him.Turns out she was right about him being under the Robot mask, but before his identity was revealed Lindsay spilled the tea saying quote, "If it is you, we have a lot to talk about, and this is not the arena for it. I want my furniture back! Because I bought your furniture for your house in Venice!"And Lindsay’s fellow 'Masked Singer' judge, Jackie 'O', explained the furniture situation. Lindsay told Jackie that she furnished Ali and Cody's new place in Venice Beach back when they were dating in 2018.Soon after when Cody broke up with Ali, they moved out of the place.
And apparently, Lindsay never got her furniture back. It's still unclear if Cody even knew what she was talking about because he was still in the Robot suit and couldn’t exactly defend himself.But Cody did somewhat get the last laugh because he was crowned the winner of The Masked Singer.
And while Ali Lohan hasn’t spoken out about the matter, Cody did explain the furniture situation to Australian outlet Punkee.He said quote, “Well basically I was living in this house in Venice, I had this kind of beach shack there near Venice Beach, and I had been living there for a couple of years and I was seeing her sister for a short period at that time and she was staying there with me. I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor because that was the vibe of the house and I loved it.”
So apparently Cody never even received the furniture Lindsay is talking about. I guess we will never know.But we do know that Cody is throwing some shade at Miley’s exes even going as far as suggesting that she hadn't had a romantic experience before him.Ok Cody, so was a 10 year relationship and marriage to Liam Hemsworth completely absent of romance? I highly doubt it, but let’s hear him out.Cody appeared on Australia’s Kyle & Jackie O Show, and he was asked about his very PDA filled relationship with Miley. He first spoke about how their longtime friendship turned into something more. Cody said quote, "She's been through a lot this year and I was trying to be respectful of that."But then he went on to make a subtle dig at Miley's exes, suggesting that she hasn’t experienced romance in her previous relationships.He spoke about the time he serenaded Miley in the hospital with a song he'd written for her and said quote, "I’m very, very, very romantic. I don’t think she...she’d talked about how she hadn’t had that kind of an experience in a relationship before."In the interview, Cody was also asked about Miley's controversial comments about sexuality where she appeared to throw shade at her ex-boyfriends in a recent Instagram Live.You know the one where she said all of this…
But when Cody was specifically asked about Miley's comment, he just seemed flattered, saying it was a quote "nice" thing for her to say.He went on to say quote, “I like to be the best boyfriend I can possibly be. Especially for her — she deserves that much."And so have they said I love you to each other yet?Cody revealed that love was "a big word" for them but he opened up about how the two have been a positive influence on each other as they're both now sober.So it sounds like they’re in a great place together.
And I’m sure Lindsay Lohan will just continue to try to get back her non-existent furniture.
