If you’re reading this, I’m guessing you’re as frugal as we are & likely love getting your hands on anything that can help save a dollar in your home.

I’ve been using Bee’s Wraps for almost 2 years and I’ve never been more sure about an eco-friendly product after comparing it to another popular brand!

Bee’s Wraps are a plastic-free alternative to disposable plastics, which are often used for mere minutes and will end up polluting our oceans for centuries to come… never fully breaking down or leaving our ecosystems.

I calculated that in 10 years (at the rate I was previously using plastic bags), I’d spend nearly $1,723 on about 21,600 bags! 😱

Here’s why I know these reusable beeswax wraps are hands down 🙌 the BEST:

Bee’s Wraps are naturally antimicrobial and can be reused for up to an entire year! They’re made from GOTS-certified organic cotton, sustainably sourced beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. All of the ingredients combined create a malleable and easy-to-use food wrap that can be used over and over again!

Even mine with occasional use are still going strong almost two years later! 👏

They’re truly remarkable when you compare them to less than desirable brands like Trader Joe’s – making them worth every single penny!

Speaking of which…

It’s worth mentioning I’ve actually tried a few different kinds of reusable wraps just to be sure my Bee’s Wraps truly are the best of the best – including Trader Joe’s.

Now, I’m a huge Trader Joe’s lover, but their reusable wax bags have got to be the worst I’ve come across – proof that you get what you pay for sometimes. 👎 The Trader Joe’s wraps are incredibly stiff, not very malleable, make your fingers and hands feel very waxy, and they smell absolutely horrible. My son didn’t even eat any of his lunch the first day I tried using them and my other son’s ripped on the first day! 😅

That said, the whole experience made me fall in love all over again with my beloved beeswax wraps!

I even convinced our very own recipe blogger, Lina, to give them a try! Here’s what she had to say about her Bee’s Wraps!

“These wraps are so high quality and work awesome! They are strong, sticky (but not on your hands), and really do replace plastic wrap for storing food. I love that they easily wash clean and can be used over and over. I also love the very minimal wax smell compared to other brands that can be overly intense. These wraps rock!”

We love that these beeswax wraps come in so many different sizes, fun colors & patterns, and some even come with a cute wood button and tie to keep your yummy sandwiches perfectly sealed. Plus, when you’re not using them, they take up little to no room in your drawers!

Here are the other benefits to using Bee’s Wrap Beeswax Food Wraps:

  • A natural alternative to plastic
  • They’re ethically sourced
  • Easy to clean
  • Made right in the USA
  • Fully biodegradable
  • Green America certified
  • Durable and keeps food fresh
  • They can also be used to cover bowls

You can use Bee’s Wraps for so many things!

From wrapping half-eaten avocados, fresh fruit, blocks of cheese leftover from a charcuterie board, and even covering bowls that have no lid, these wraps are perfect for storing just about any food!

And once they’re in the fridge, they harden just enough so you can ensure however you put them in is how they’ll come back out. 👍

They also hold up extremely well.

Since owning ours, I’ve even cut some of my larger Bee’s Wraps in half to suit our needs. I’m still in awe of their durability and how long they’ve lasted! Even with the ones I’ve cut, I’ve only experience minimal fraying and even then it’s never affected the performance of these wraps or stuck to our food.

There are just 2 caveats worth considering for beeswax wraps:

  • My son lost his lunchbox at school the first day we used them (which never turned up) so I did have to replace them which was costly. That said, we had a really long talk about being more responsible with lunch boxes and it hasn’t happened since that day! (Here’s an affordable lunch box I love if you’re in the market for one!)
  • Washing them isn’t the most convenient thing in the world. They do have to be hand-washed, but I just make a habit of doing this every night before I repack my kiddos’ lunches. To wash them, I use a cleaning brush, a little bit of mild dish soap, & rinse with cold water. If you pat them dry, they’ll be ready to fold up and put back in your cabinet in a matter of minutes or splurge on their gorgeous wooden drying rack and it’s almost like you’ll have artwork in your kitchen! 🙌

Here’s what other reviewers are saying about their Bee’s Wraps:

Beeswax wraps covering veggies on table

“I can’t recommend these beeswax wraps enough. The antimicrobial aspect of the bee’s wraps keeps fruits and vegetables super fresh for much longer than plastic bags. They also keep bread softer and fresher for much longer than Ziplocs, they’re unquestionably better for the environment, and they can be reused for a long time!” – Stacy ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“Wow, what a product! I’m very impressed – I wrapped a block of cheese in this and popped it in the fridge where I fully expected the cheese to dry out within a couple of days. I looked at it today (one week later) and the cheese is as fresh as when I purchased it. Well done Bee’s Wraps, I’m totally sold on this reusable product as an alternative to cling film plastic!” – Sandra ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

“These are amazing! I have never written a review before but this product is so fabulous I just had to! They are even better than I had hoped. They keep my half avocado as fresh as the moment I sliced it with NO brown discoloring – even after two days of sitting around! I used my beeswax wraps to cover a bowl of leftover fruit salad that I had made on Thursday and by Sunday it was as good as when I had first made it. A real joy to use and I will definitely be buying more for myself and to gift to friends!” – Olivia ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
