Roberto Clemente Lesson Plans, Activities, Coloring Sheets and More

You may have heard about the baseball legend, Roberto Clemente. But did you know that the Puerto Rican was also a great humanitarian? In fact, he was posthumously awarded a Congressional Gold Medal of Honor in 1973 for his philanthropic work. Roberto Clemente was the first Hispanic to achieve greatness in baseball, such as the first Hispanic to be named league MVP and the first Hispanic elected to the Hall of Fame, among other firsts. I hope you enjoy this collection of resources for learning and teaching about Roberto Clemente. Surprisingly, there are less than I expected. I hope that changes in the future.

Then learn about other important Latinos in history that your children should know!
