As our lives have simplified over the past few months, we can simplify learning for our kids too.
This list of 30 easy summer learning ideas for elementary kids will keep our students learning and won't make parents or teachers crazy! I think we are all ready for that!
READING - For me, summer reading should be encouraged for all students. The trick is finding books that they want to read. I always recommend letting kids pick their own books, but giving them possible titles might help with that process.

WRITING "Reading is inhaling, writing is exhaling." Let those little smarties exhale a bit this summer by writing. If you add in colorful paper and pens, markers, and glue - they will love it!

4. Use a deck of cards to add, subtract, multiply, or divide.
5. Board games like Monopoly, Battleship, and Clue.
6. Hopscotch math
7. Play "I Spy" around the house and count all the electrical outlets, light switches, doorknobs, light fixtures, walls, or cabinets.

9. Draw a map of your house, yard, or neighborhood.
