READING - For me, summer reading should be encouraged for all students. The trick is finding books that they want to read. I always recommend letting kids pick their own books, but giving them possible titles might help with that process.
Here's 10 fun books that you could suggest:
1. Because of Winn-Dixie, Kate Di Camillo
2. The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, C.S. Lewis
3. Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Jeff Kinney
4. Snot Stew, Bill Wallace
5. Judy Moody, Megan McDonald
6. The Lemonade Wars, Jacqueline Davies
7. Geronimo Stilton, Elizabetta Dami
8. James and the Giant Peach, Roald Dahl
9. Nate the Great, Marjorie Sharmat
10. Cam Jansen, David A. Adler
